Things I need to .... In 2007

This Mini-Album are of things that I need to do, need to change and goals for 2007. I can't believe that in 3 days we can wave goodbye to 2006 and hello to 2007. What a difficult year 2006 has been. Lots of good, lots of bad. Thank goodness the good out weighed the bad in my little world. 2007 is going to be a great year. I don't know how or why, but I just feel it. Many exciting things will be going on and new adventures to experience. My outlook for 2007 is positive. It's all in what you make it, and I plan on making it the best is can possibly be!

I can't believe it is almost Christmas! I hope that everyone reading this has a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Years!

Here is a mini-album I made. Leah at Scrappy Giraffe challenged all of us to take self portraits and post them on their site. I decided to do a mini-album. I used Maya Road Square coaster mini-ablum, Daisy D pattern paper, Zany & Uniques stickers from 7 Gypsies, Prima Flowers, Fuf-a-la buttons and I inked the edged with Tim Holz Faded Jeans Distressed Inks.

Baby

This beautiful cat showed up a week ago at my house. She is obviously someone's baby. She is the sweetest cat and very affectionate. So I am figuring that she must have gotten outside and got lost. Well, she had adopted us. We call her Baby. We won't let her in the house house because my princess Possum would have a total fit...and that wouldn't be a good thing around my house.

More Than Scrapbooking December Kit

I received the December More Than Scrapbooking Kit! It is awesome. Lots of great paper and a Library Pocket Album. The project is all about Family. I used pictures of when I was a kid. I found some great pics of my parents when they were first married and my sister when she was little too. It was a great project!

The Big Concert

Tonight is the Disturbed and Stone Sour Concert in Oklahoma City. I decided not to go and gave my ticket to Matt's buddy, Kevin. Matt's other friend, James is going too as well as Chris. Kevin and James spent the night last night. What a motle crew we had in the house. James is one hyper kid and Kevin is extremely laid back. Matt is right in-between. Chris and the boys played Xbox and Matt worked on James' t-maxx. I stayed in the project room working on a scrapbook for my boss' wife for Christmas.

Brenda and Taylor stopped by last night too and brought over their new puppy. They haven't named him yet, but he is a cutie, a little fur ball!

My New Love

I can't believe it! I finally got my camera. I have been drooling over the Rebel XT for over a year. When they released the new Rebel XTi, I was so excited, because I knew it wouldn't be long before the prices on the XT would start dropping! I talked Chris into letting me order the XT and it being my Christmas and Birthday gift! What a wonderful hubby I have!

Busy Busy Busy

Sunday was a really busy day for me. I worked on nothing but Altering Projects for Christmas Gifts. It was so much fun. Today, well....I am itching to do something, but I just can't seem to figure out what to do or where to start. So I just kinda sat at my desk and piddled (reorganized a bit). Here are some of the things I did on Sunday.....

Christmas Projects

It's Sunday

Not much has been happening here. We did get out of the house yesterday to go to our Stop Smoking class, but when we arrived we found out it had been cancelled. So we too the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping. We got Ryle's birthday present and got it in the mail. He is 6 years old today. We went by our local scrapbooking store and they were having a "Out the Trunk" sale. Chris and I went nuts. We walked out of there with 3 bags full of stuff for only $65! Yippe! I love getting good deals.

Other than that we have been stuck in the house. I worked on Christmas gifts and Christmas cards. Chris and Matt hung out playing games and watching movies. Today is laundry day and tomorrow it's back to work! Ugh.

It's snowing!

The snow finally started falling last night (about an hour after I posted the sleet pics). It was still snowing when I went to bed. This morning we woke up to 5 to 6 inches of snow in Sapulpa and Tulsa woke up to 11 inches of snow. I guess my boss won't be flying out to Atlanta today. Work is cancelled, school is cancelled, so we are just hanging out and keeping warm. Eventually we are going to have to venture out in this mess. I need some Diet Dr Pepper and Chris needs some coffee creamer. We really didn't plan ahead very well. Heck, it's Oklahoma, and who believes the weather men in Oklahoma? They get it right about 1/4 of the time. Oh well, I should have believed!
