Matt Rocks The House at Sapulpa High School Talent Show

I am a little late in posting this. I was hoping to have the video clip to add, but so far it has not been posted to the internet yet.


On Tuesday, February 21st, Matt with his bandmates, Crimson Crucifix performed at the Sapulpa High School Talent Show. It was an awesome performance. The band was the first to perform. After they were finished with their awesome two songs, Matt performed a drum solo....and let me tell you HE ROCKED THE HOUSE!!! Before he started he came out on stage and was really working the crowd! My son, the quiet laid back kid, was working the crowd. I was so proud! Then he went behind the curtains and when the curtains opened he went into one of the most awesome Drum Solos EVER!




I have heard this solo several thousand times as he practiced, but there is just something about hearing it on stage vs. my house! I had to remember to take pictures when I was listening. Soooooo cooool... And to top it all off - He took 2nd Place with that solo! It was a bummer that Crimson Crucifix didn't place, because they were totally awesome!
