Okay Two posts in one day! I couldn't help myself because.....

I am so stinking excited! The Creative Scrap Shack has announced that we are having a VC on May 5th, which is very exciting, however, that is not what I am sooo excited about. Chris, our super fabulous and uber talented DT Coordinator just announced that during our VC on May 5th from 1 pm to 3 pm the one and only ANA CABRERA, of CKU and Purple Cow (formerly of Scrapbook Answers) will be joining us for tons of fun and some awesome make-and-takes. I am so excited! This is totally awesome awesome news!

2Jills Blog Challenge #2

Challenge: It's officially spring, so what is it about spring that you look forward to the most? Do you have any traditions? Do you plant a garden? Do you do the dreaded spring cleaning? Or do you run to the nearest park with the kids? Tell me about your spring.

I am so excited for Spring to have finally sprung! It has been one bizzare winter here in Oklahoma. Chris and I have started planning out what it going in the flower beds and what major yard improvement we are going to do. Right now, I think we are going to replace our chain link fence (yuck) with a white vinyl fence. So I am looking forward to that. I am planning something very whimsical and fun to add to the flower beds and our front porch. Our neighbors call our house the "festive" house because of the color, so I am going to add some fun things to the yard to make it that more festive.

Chris and I are also ready for our first Zoo trip of the season! Tulsa Zoo is awesome. I haven't been in a couple of years and it is time to take our digi camera's out for a spin. They have been cooped up on the house way too long!

Chris and I are also planning a weekend get away for hopefully in May. He fly fishes, so we are going to rent a cabin in Missouri and while he fishes, I will be snapping off pictures and catching up on my reading!

Sooooo Happy Spring Everyone! I am glad it is finally here!

Okay, I am totally missing My BOY!

I got an email from Matt today. He sent me this awesome picture he took. It is at Nanzdietschweiler.....like I know how to even pronounce that. But it is gorgeous.

Well, Matt has been gone for a month now. And I am totally missing him. I am sooo ready for him to come home. But he won't be back until the first week of August. So to pass the time I have been scrapping some of his photos.

He is having a lot of fun and is training for some marathon. Today he said that he ran 10 miles. Crazy kid! I would totally pop a lung!

I got my April Kit from 2Jills and all I can say right now, is Oh my gosh it is awesome!

I AM LUCKY!!!!!

I am one lucky lady. For starters I have the best husband in the world and a wonderful son! And also I am lucky because.... I AM ON VACATION THIS WEEK! WooooHooo! Today is the first day that I haven't scrapped. Since Thursday, I have scrapped 18 LOs. OMG! That's a bunch. Here are a few of them.

Wow! What a crazy busy week!

I have totally dropped the ball on updating my Blog! It's been a crazy crazy week and then I locked myself in my project room and scrapped for 2 days.

It's been raining like crazy today. We woke up to loud clapping thunder. So we were up. The dogs were going crazy, they sooo hate thunder storms. I had to shut down the computer for awhile until it passed. Now it's just raining, and supposed to all day. It's a very gray day.

Okay, let me tell you about April's kit 1 (Spring Romance) for Creative Scrap Shack! It is awesome. It is such a beautiful kit, packed full of the yummies paper, rubons, journaling stickers, ribbon and an altering item. April's Kit 2 (Storybook Tale) is just as yummy! 3 of us DT members are working with Kit 1 and the other 3 DT members are working with Kit 2. I can't wait to see everyone's creations! Keep checking back, on April 1st CSS will be posting the DT's projects for each of these kits.

Here are some other projects I have been working on this weekend. I got to play with some of the new Fancy Pants paper and of coarse I just love to use Basic Grey's Scarlet's Letter and Stella Ruby!

Here are my projects for 2Jills March Kit! What an awesome kit! I love playing with the Dream Street papers and the yummy stamps! These I did a week ago and just forgot to put them up on my blog!
