My last Project for 2Jills

Well, this is my last set of projects for 2Jills. Currently, they have their new DT call underway. It has been a great 6 months working with these fabulous ladies.

Whew, it's been a fast and furious few days.....

So much has been going on this week and it's only Thurday!!!!

Monday evening we took Matthew to Oklahoma City. On Tuesday, he was sworn officially in the United States Air Force. I am so proud of that guy!!!! Monday evening we took him to Cattlemen's and he had his last steak dinner for a while.

Well on our way to OKC Monday, the Blue Beast started acting up. Chris was sooo mad. It wasn't anything major, but it didn't matter. So on Tuesday afternoon, once we got back from Oklahoma City, Chris cleaned the Beast and headed into Tulsa. This is what he came back with. Isn't she pretty? I am calling her the Gray Babe....I tried to call her Basic Gray, but Chris didn't like that name! What is he thinking! He has no taste in great names! LOL.

Holy Smokes....Leesa Parker you are awesome!!!

I have to shout out to the world, just how awesome my friend and photographer, Leesa Parker is.....she took Matthew this morning to do his pictures before he leaves for Basic Training. I only had a couple of requests of some shots I wanted and they were off and running. A couple of hours later, they were back. 155 pictures and let me tell you....ALL of them are Awesome!!! These are just a few that I love!

Thank you Leesa, for being such an awesome friend and creating these gorgeous pictures for me to scrap!!!

One good thing did come out of me not getting to go to Arkansas....I got to play at CSS's Cyber Crop on Saturday the 11th. And let me tell you, it was a wild and crazy FUN day!!!! Not only did we have challenges and games, but we announced three new members to our Design Team!!

Let me give a huge shout out for CSS's newest Design Team.....Jules, Trica and Martha!!!!! I am so excited to be working with these ladies! Their term begins on September 1st!

I am soooo not happy with the Blue Beast!!!

As you know, I have been counting down to finally getting to meet my great niece! We were planning on going to Arkansas on Friday. But nooooooo! The Blue Beast had other ideas! Normally, I refer to my mini-van as the Blue Beauty, but right now, she is the Blue Beast!!!

It started out Thursday morning with the check engine light coming on, then by that afternoon, while running errands in Tulsa traffic, it decided to die and continue to die each and every time I would get it started back up! It was 105 degrees outside, I was stuck in traffic over on the side of town very close to the PGA, so you can only imagine just how many cars were on the road that day! It took me over 45 minutes to get the Blue Beast to the dealership, which on a good day would have only taken me 20 minutes! Matt came and picked me up and took me home! Forget going back to work! Then Matt had to go back and pick up Chris at work and take him to the dealership. Well 4 hours later, the Blue Beast is road worthy again! However, there was no way I was going to take it on a 6 hour trip, in over 100 degree temperatures up in the Ozarks! So, I didn't get to meet my great niece! I am totally bummed out! Maybe one day I will get to meet her, hopefully it won't be until she graduates from High School!

So, what did we do? We hung out! We did catch a movie, Transformers! What an awesome movie! But other than that, we hung out! Not what I had planned, but we got to spend some time with Matt just hanging out!

Counting Down.........

Only 15 hours until Matthew is home!!!! His flight comes in at 8:50 pm tonight. I am sooo excited! It seems like it has been an eternity since he left for his dad's back on February 26th. I am a little sad though, I found out yesterday that he will be leaving on the 20th instead of the 21st for Basic Training. He has to spend the night at MEPs in Oklahoma City on the 20th and then leave from there for San Antonio, TX. So our visit is being cut short by another full day, which totally blows!!!! But, we will make the most of our time. We have lots to do during the very short 11 1/2 days that he will be home. My baby has grown up and is going to be officially flying the coop! It's very exciting and sad at the same time...Chris and I will be "empty nesters" and we are not even 40 yet! LOL!!!

Only 4 more days and I will finally get to meet, in person, my adorable great niece, Mackenzie! My mom tells me that she is giggling and jabbering a lot!!! She has found her voice and loves to hear it!!! It's going to be a very busy weekend!!!

I am going to miss out on the fun at The Creative Scrap Shack this weekend. So much is going to be going on there, a Cyber Crop, a Celebrity Chat with Janna Wilson, and they will be announcing the newest Design Team Members!!!! What a Weekend.....

Well, last week did not end very well for me. I was home with a dilly of a migraine! Ugh! I don't get them very often, but when I do it's just not pretty. The only relief I can find is by finding the heaviest book in the house and laying smack dab on my forehead. So Thursday and Friday was spent with a dictionary on my head!

Saturday was pretty uneventful. The only thing that went on was laundry! WoooHooo. However, Saturday night we watched the Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy to gear up for seeing the Bourne Ultimatum on Sunday!!!! Holy Smokes WHAT A MOVIE!!!!! Talk about one wild ride from beginning to end! Super movie! It is just as good and the first two! And of coarse, I could watch Matt Damon all day every day!!!! So if you haven't seen the Bourne Ultimatium, GO SEE IT!!!! I am normally not one to see a movie twice at the theatres, however, this one I would go see again!!! Maybe Matt hasn't seen it yet, and will want to go when he gets home!!!!

TOMORROW is the day that Matt comes home! I am sooo looking foward to getting him back to Oklahoma. I can't believe that it has been since February 26th that we have seen him. Gosh it seems like forever! We pick him up at the airport at 8pm on Tuesday. So tomorrow is going to be a late night for me and Chris. Getting up at 3:30 am on Wednesday to get ready for work is going to be painful! Also, Chris' brother, Mike is going to be staying with us this week. He is in on business and with the PGA going on in Tulsa, there are no hotel rooms to speak of! Thank goodness we live close to Tulsa and he can stay with us! So this week is going to be a very busy week for us. Friday we are leaving for Arkansas! I finally get to meet my great niece, Mackenzie! I am so excited!!!

Someday I'm going to... travel to Europe to visit World War II memorials

When I'm really down, what I want to do is... Put on a funny movie and cuddle on the couch with Chris!

I feel anxious when...I have had way too much coffee!!!!!

I'm afraid that...One day I will forget everything and everyone that I love!

I like people who... are Funny, can laugh at themselves, those who are a little "off", and those who enjoy living the life they have been given!!!

All it takes to make me happy is... Chipboard, a good book, Diet Dr. Pepper and Chris telling me he loves me!

What I really want to do is... Retire!

I wish that...I didn't have to work!

I don't like people who...are FAKE or full of themselves!!!

A person really should...be true to themselves and love the person they are!!!

I just hate it that...my family live in another state!

I have everything I need, however...I would love to have a bigger Project Room!

If I could do whatever I wanted, I would...learn to play the piano and drums!!!
