10.24.07

Oh wow! I can't believe that it has been so long since I have updated my blog. So much has been going on here.
We got to see Matt in San Antonio. It was so awesome to get to see him. Watching him in the Airman's Run, The Coin Ceremony and the Graduation Parade was the coolest thing. I don't think there was a moment while we were there that I didn't have a huge grin on my face. Well, except when we had to leave and come back home. Then I was a little sad. However, Chris kept reminding me that we were stopping at Ikea on our way home! LOL!!!
Can you believe that it's been over two weeks since I took these pictures and I haven't scrapped them yet? Well, it won't be long before these end up on some LOs and in a mini-album!
Here are some great pictures of Matt. I can't get over how grown up he is..

And I can't ever go to San Antonio without stopping to see my most favorite place on the earth.....The Alamo. I guess you can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl.

Holy Cow! It's October Already!!!!!

Wow, where has this year gone? It's been one of the quickest years! I must be getting old! My mom use to always tell me that the older you get the faster the days move by.

Well, today is the DT Reveal at Creative Scrap Shack! I am so excited. We have 3 designers who will be posting their projects for the first time at the Shack! Come by and check them out.

Here are my projects with October's Kit.

Well, I did NOT make it to the 4th week of the Bad Girls Top Designer contest. However, my dear sweet friend Tami did! I am so excited for her. Her work is incredible! I am keeping my fingers crossed that she takes the Top Designer position!

This past Thursday, I got some wonderful Basic Grey Mellow paper. OMG! It is wonderful! I love the colors. Very fun to play with. Here is a mini-album I did of Matt, Nikki and Cassie.

This week is going to be a short week for me at work! On Wednesday, Chris and I will be heading to San Antonio, TX to see Matt graduate from Basic Training! I am soooo excited! So these are going to be the two longest days! The drive is about 8 hours, so not too bad! There are so many things that I am excited about, mainly I get to see Matt in his uniform! Then there is the Alamo, the River Walk and those awesome sun rises of Texas! That is one of the many things I miss about living in Texas! You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl...
