Chris and I decided to go ahead and pack up Matt stuff and put it in storage. Oh, it is for purely selffish reason! Matt's bedroom is prime square footage and I need more room to create! LOL!!!! Okay, I need more room to make a bigger mess....Last night Chris played a farewell round on the drums and then packed Pearl away. She is going to be missed...oh, not by me, by Chris! This evening I will be finishing up with packing Matt's stuff in plastic totes....man that kid has a bunch of junk...err, I mean stuff. I wonder which gene pool he got that Pack Rat gene?? Couldn't have been me....okay, can't even type that out without laughing.
I have been busy busy busy making Christmas stuff. Yep, I have already started on Christmas presents, Christmas decorations, and Christmas cards. Check out the Treasure Cove at Creative Scrap Shack. Also, don't forget that every Tuesday at The Shack is Technique Tuesday. Every Tuesday, one of DT Members will post a Technique with awesome instructions, inspiration and ideas. Today, Jules demonstrated Gilding on Transparencies.
Here are some of my Christmas projects that I have completed.
I hand drew a stocking and cut out of chipboard. I used Cosmo Cricket Be Good papers. This is for my beautiful great niece Mackenzie for her first Christmas.

I decided to keep a journal for the month of December (I think I can commit to one month). I thought since this will be mine and Chris' first official Christmas as "Empty Nesters", I thought I would keep a record of it. I have a feeling it will be a bunch of pictures and little journaling! LOL!. I but I will try to do better journaling.

Here are some fun goodies bags I made from plain paper lunch bags and scraps of Basic Grey Figgy Pudding and American Craft Felt Christmas shapes. Gonna fill these up with some goodies for my friends at work. Also, made some gift tags, it's hard to tell by the picture, but I used some of Tim Holtz crackle paint and then inked with Stazzon Timber Brown. I covered the florish with, what I lovingly refer to as "Bliss in a Bottle", Candy Cane Red Stickles. I think I will use this tag for an embellishment on a Christmas LO.

These I made for my desk at work. I decided this year I am going to actually decorate my desk with some Christmas stuff. No Ba-Humbug for me this year!
