Maybe it's because they are long an narrow. I need to change the shape and size. Maybe that will help.
Take 3......I used my Revolution and cut three large scalloped circles. And also used 3x3 squares. I was hopeful, but *sigh* unsuccessful. Must read instructions yet again. Maybe I should wait until tomorrow when I get a toaster over. Maybe my stove is getting too hot? Maybe it's the pan? Maybe it's the experimentor...nah! Couldn't be that....
Back to the drawing board.........

When I made shrinky dinks a little while ago I kept the oven door open so I could see exactly what was going on and I kept a wooden spoon handy so that I could use the handle to squish them down when they curled. I also used the white shrinky dink stuff so maybe that made a difference to mine. Mine came out flat by the way. Hope your nest experiment works :)
Well phoooeyyyyy....they are so cute...if only they would co-operate!
HI TAM!!!!!!! These are really cool! Hope you are doing well!! HUGS!
What a cute idea! I hope the next attempt ROCKS!
hey Tam,
It looks like you are using the bottom of a broiling pan, might try just a regular cookie sheet for them.
I remember Shrinkey Dinks! I might have to try, too. After you get it and can give all the good tips, of course! :-) Yours would be so cute if they'd cooperate!
i've got lots of tips, i make shrinky dinks CONSTANTLY for my etsy shop!
the toaster oven will make it SO much easier. SO MUCH! someone told me to use parchment paper on the pan which has worked out great, and i work at a lower temp when doing larger pieces. i only do 2-3 at a time as well, because they start to freak as they shrink, and then they stick together.
i'm afraid the ones you've already done might be a lost cause, but the next batch will be great, i'm sure!!
can't wait for day 3!!
