Vendor Faire..Kittens..and Sneeky Peeks...

The vendor farie at work went very well. I sold a handful of mini albums, some notepads, cards, Christmas tags and some picture frames. I had a great time. It is something I would do again. Since it was at work, it was a very small venue, which is good for me. I get very stressed in crowded places. A friend of mine that had a table set up by mine wants me to go in with her on a booth at a large event in Tulsa in November. I would love too, but large crowds and I don't have near enough inventory for a 3 day event. I might try to do it next year.

On Wednesday, I went in for allergy testing. I was only tested for about 35 things that are very common in Oklahoma. And just like I suspected, I am still allergic to everything under the sun. I had the full screening done when I was 10 years old in Texas. I had several food allergies then, that I suspect I still have. They didn't test me this time around, but I will more than likely have them test me when I go back in November. I start shots this week. Two shots a week for three or four months, then one shot a week for several months, then hopefully down to once a month. Yippeee skippy. I was a bit bummed that I can't give myself the shots, instead I have to go to the docs to get them. Oh, and Chris opened his big mouth and told the doctor that I hold my breath when I am asleep. Apparently, that is not good thing. So now I have to go have a sleep study done. Thrill thrill. I will have that done at the end of October, again...yippee skippy! I guess I really need to get serious about losing that weight I have been gaining. I am thinking that that is the majority of my sleeping problem.

The kittens are doing great. They are driving us nuts, which is their sole purpose at this stage of their life. Nibby (the white one) is clearly the alpha female of the Stooges. She is a damanding little cuss and she challenges Possum every chance she gets. In fact, Possum doesn't hiss at her anymore, she just smacks Nibby right off. That seems to be the only thing that works.

Peanut Butter is nothing but high energy (well all three of the Stooges are high energy but PB by far is the most high strung). And then there is Widdles, the smallest of the three and the one you have to watch the closest. You can see her working things out in her mind. She loves to sneek up on you and pounce. This week I am getting them all collers with bells. That way I will hear them coming. We still haven't introduced them to the dogs. It won't be long though, because I really miss having my dogs in the house. Mind you, my allergist is not happy with my little zoo, but oh well, just add those allergens to my serum cause I ain't getting rid of these furry kids of mine!

Here are some sneeky peeks of my projects with the Go Be Creative October's kit.

And don't forget about the blog give away I am having!

Sorry to hear you're new best friend will be the nurse. At least you've got the kittens to keep you sane. Ours (now aged 2 1/2) got us through my DH's thesis writing. That tortie looks dangerous... you have to look out for the smudgey looking ones, their the most devious!
