OMG! I am sooooo excited! My sis sent me an email and show me something that my brother-in-law made for me!!! See, Ken, does awesome wood working and so I am been totally drooling over some of his work, but refrained from bugging him for that "family handout" errr, I mean family discount. But when he started showing off wooden name plates, well this Sister-In-Law has not shame whatsoever in asking...no begging for a wooden name plate for my desk at work. You know how hard it is just to happen across a name plate of my name? TAMERA? Well, unless it's custom made, there aren't any!!!

Thank you Thank You Thank you Ken! I love it! I can't wait to get it in the mail! It's going to be a great mail day!!

Also, everyone reading my blog, check out Ken's site. Lots of beautiful work there!!!!

I have been doing really good making LOs with some of those old pictures of mine! Starting to amass a pretty good album. My poor son, one day he will inherit all of these albums. I am ashamed to say how many I have right now. It's crazy. At least I have two nieces and 3 step-sons that I can also give some too. LOL!!

Here is a LO I did for a challenge at the Shack. The challenge was to use some stitching. Since I very rarely incorporate any stitching in my LOs, I thought it would be fun to add that element. Trust me, the stitching was nothing fancy. It's hard to see the writing under my title, but it all reads :"In 1986 My Plan: To conquer the world (I was planning to be a lawyer)."

Tag....I'm it!!!

My sweet friend Martha tagged me. This should be fun!

Here are the rules:
1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.
2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name).
3. After you are tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and your answers.
4. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and that they need to read your blog for details.)

My middle name: Leann

L - Love to make people laugh
E - Extrovert (but not as much as I use to be! LOL)
A - Aggrivating (to a lot of people, especially my boss!)
N - Never will go sky diving willingly (unless the plane is on fire and they push me!)
N - Nostalgic (duh, I am a scrapbooker!!! LOL!!!)

I have tagged.....Lainey, AngieDe, Jenelle, Kim, and Tabby

A freight train has ran into my house and landed on my head. Or at least that is how I am feeling today and have been feeling for the past few days. Whatever my husband had, he shared it with me. Mind you, I am all for the two of us sharing everything, but being hit by a freight train is something he really could have kept to himself.

We still have not made it to the movies. But we did watch Resident Evil and it is good. Well if you like those kind of movies.

The cyber crop last weekend at the Shack went great. We had so many ladies there chatting and creating and playing games. It was a blast. I think I completed 6 or 7 layouts that day. I have been on a roll here lately. I guess taking a break a couple of weeks ago did wonders for my mojo. However, I haven't gotten to pick up my book (Winston Churchill's WWII Memoirs) in a while. I keep walking by it and thinking, "okay, tonight is the night to spend some time with Winston", then I get side tracked with either hubby, the dogs or a layout. I think tomorrow I am going to completely dedicate my day to Winston.

I have been working on several challenges at the Shack. We are in the middle of a DT call and I am trying really hard to complete all of the applicants challenges. There are some great ones and so far I have gotten about 1/2 of them completed.

Here are some fun LOs I have done, either as challenges, during the crop, or just for myself. Being on a spending freeze I am pulling out lots of my paper from my stash and enjoying creating with these old friends of mine.

One of my goals for 2008 is to scrap older pictures. Well, going through many of those boxes of pictures I have came across many "What was I thinking" moments. So what better way to scrap them, then to scrap them and issues a challenge. So join us at The Shack and join in on the challenge. Here are a couple of my "WWIT" moments....

What a past few days. Friday, Chris started feeling bad and ended up sleeping most of the weekend and on Monday. My poor guy. He was so upset that he couldn't take me out for my birthday on Sunday. I kept telling him that we have plenty of time. So hopefully we will get to see a movie and have dinner out. I am dying to see I am Legend with Will Smith. Matt said it is an awesome movie and one to be watched at the theatre. But all was not lost this weekend. When I went grocery shopping, I picked up the 3rd installment of the Resident Evil movies. Yes, that is one of my guilty pleasures. It is not my typical type of movie, but it is such mindless fun. It took Matt forever to talk me into watching the first one. However, once I did, I was hooked. It's gross, but so much fun. It's Night of the Living Dead but with better special effects. LOL!

Well, The Creative Scrap Shack is in full swing of their 1 year Anniversary celebration. We have so much going on. We are currently having a Design Team Call. We are looking for 3 new design team members. We are having a Scenic Route Contest, Name our Design Team contest, and we are having a cyber crop on Saturday, January 12th. We are going to have a lot of challenges, games and even a guest chatter. So stop by and join in all of the fun. It's going to be a great party! I will also be announcing the details of my 9 week mini-album class.

Here are some LOs I completed over the weekend. While Chris was napping, I was scrapping!

Oh and I have to give a shout out to my dad! He finally updated his blog with some new pictures! Dad, I will stop fussing at you...for now! Check out his blog, lots of beautiful photographs. Bruce's Blog.

Happy New Years!!! Well, no parties for us last night. However, we did ring in the New Year watching Escape from The Planet of the Apes. No, it was not by my choice, it was like a train wreck that Chris could not take his eyes off of. He watched and I complained. LOL. But the best thing is, I rang in the New Years with my wonderful husband.

Matt made it back to San Antonio with no problems. He enjoyed his cross country trek. Now he is back to the real world and his training starts back up tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow he will find out where he will be stationed after training. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's at a base either close to us or close to his dad.

Today is the beginning of The Creative Scrap Shack's 1 year anniversary! Lot's going on! Some great announcements. You should check it all out!

Here are my projects using The Shack's Januarys Kit! Cheri did an awesome job putting together such a beautiful kit!
