Vendor Faire..Kittens..and Sneeky Peeks...

The vendor farie at work went very well. I sold a handful of mini albums, some notepads, cards, Christmas tags and some picture frames. I had a great time. It is something I would do again. Since it was at work, it was a very small venue, which is good for me. I get very stressed in crowded places. A friend of mine that had a table set up by mine wants me to go in with her on a booth at a large event in Tulsa in November. I would love too, but large crowds and I don't have near enough inventory for a 3 day event. I might try to do it next year.

On Wednesday, I went in for allergy testing. I was only tested for about 35 things that are very common in Oklahoma. And just like I suspected, I am still allergic to everything under the sun. I had the full screening done when I was 10 years old in Texas. I had several food allergies then, that I suspect I still have. They didn't test me this time around, but I will more than likely have them test me when I go back in November. I start shots this week. Two shots a week for three or four months, then one shot a week for several months, then hopefully down to once a month. Yippeee skippy. I was a bit bummed that I can't give myself the shots, instead I have to go to the docs to get them. Oh, and Chris opened his big mouth and told the doctor that I hold my breath when I am asleep. Apparently, that is not good thing. So now I have to go have a sleep study done. Thrill thrill. I will have that done at the end of October, again...yippee skippy! I guess I really need to get serious about losing that weight I have been gaining. I am thinking that that is the majority of my sleeping problem.

The kittens are doing great. They are driving us nuts, which is their sole purpose at this stage of their life. Nibby (the white one) is clearly the alpha female of the Stooges. She is a damanding little cuss and she challenges Possum every chance she gets. In fact, Possum doesn't hiss at her anymore, she just smacks Nibby right off. That seems to be the only thing that works.

Peanut Butter is nothing but high energy (well all three of the Stooges are high energy but PB by far is the most high strung). And then there is Widdles, the smallest of the three and the one you have to watch the closest. You can see her working things out in her mind. She loves to sneek up on you and pounce. This week I am getting them all collers with bells. That way I will hear them coming. We still haven't introduced them to the dogs. It won't be long though, because I really miss having my dogs in the house. Mind you, my allergist is not happy with my little zoo, but oh well, just add those allergens to my serum cause I ain't getting rid of these furry kids of mine!

Here are some sneeky peeks of my projects with the Go Be Creative October's kit.

And don't forget about the blog give away I am having!

Busy Weekend....and I have been tagged....

I have been working on getting stuff ready for the Vendor Faire at work on Tuesday. I finished up my table sign Saturday. I think it turned out pretty good. Thank you Carol for the crochet flower, it was the perfect touch.

Mind you, I didn't make all of these mini albums this weekend. These are my Etsy store inventory. Chris and I sat and put price tags on all of these. Oy!

Here are the things I worked on this weekend.

Adorable kitten alert.......

Nibby's is helping Chris surf the internet on the laptop.

Here is Widdles and Nibby helping me work on an altered composition book.

Nibby's and Peanut Butter is keeping Chris busy. They really want on his table, but he won't let them. Can't say that I blame him, since the parts he works with are tiny!

OY! What a week......

It's been a wild and crazy week here! Work has been hectic. It's that time of the year again...Budget time. So we are working on department budgets, Board Meetings, and preparing for year end. Never a dull moment.

Home is crazy too. The Three Stooges are growing like crazy. Possum is getting better about being out around them. She has shown them who is boss. She is still very unamused by them being here. We still have not introduced them to the dogs. However, they have seen each other. When Chris feeds the dogs the kittens are right there beside him, and the dogs are right there waiting on them. So far they have kept their 1 foot distance. It will be interesting when we do finally let them meet. But I am waiting until the kittens are a little bit bigger.

I have been working on some projects for the Vendor Faire next week at work. But nothing is finished, so no pictures. But I will leave you with these cute pictures of The Three Stooges.

I'm here, I'm here!!!!!

WOW, I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since I have updated my blog. Where has the time gone. Oh yeah, it's been spinning by. My momma always told me that the days pass by much quicker the older you get! Well, as much as I hate to say my momma is right (what kid - no matter how old they are-like to admit when their momma is right?), she sure hit that nugget of truth right on the head. Days just zip on by anymore. So I guess that mean, as much as I hate to say it, I am getting old.

The kittens are doing great. They are completely spoiled rotten. Nibby (the white kitten) is our adventurous one and has gotten nose to nose with Possum on several occassions. Possum has shown her who is boss a few times. It was a total smack down! Possum won. Nibby nursed a good thump on her head for a few minutes, but no blood shed. I promise I will get some pictures posted of them in the next few days.

I have been lacking the mojo for about a week or so. I think it's because I was totally stressing about things at work. I had an event this past Friday that I had to take care of and I was completely stressed about. But I made it through and the event was a success. Whew! And so this weekend, I spent working and working and working. Mojo was back. Thank goodness. I have a craft show (vendor faire) at work on September 23rd, where I have a table, so I need to get busy making more stuff!

Here are the mini albums I got completed this weekend. For more pictures you can check out my etsy store. There are 5 pictures posted for each mini album.

Possum is soooooooo not happy with me right now.....

Possum doesn't like her new furry sisters.......

In fact, Possum left me a very large smelly present in my closet. Oh, she is so not happy!!!
But aren't they the cutest!!! Only one has a name. The black multicolored kitten is Peanut Butter. The white one and the striped one still are nameless. We are still trying to get a sense of their personalities. I am sure in the next couple of days we will come up with something fitting.
