What a nice long Holiday weekend......

I hope that everyone reading this had a fantastic Thanksgiving! I hope that it was filled with lots of good food and lots of good company! Chris and I celebrated a nice quiet Thanksgiving alone with the critters. It was nice. I had been batteling a severe head cold for several days, so it was not in the cards for us to travel anywhere for Thanksgiving celebrations. I started feeling better on Thursday and was almost back to normal on Friday. Now Chris is sick. Which is a total bummer, since I wouldn't wish what I had on my worst enemy...and I totally love Chris. But he is not in as bad of shape as I was. Not only did I feel like a fleet of 18 wheelers had ran over me, I sounded like a heard of very sick bull frogs everytime I tried to speak. It just wasn't pretty and it didn't sound pretty either.

Lainey, over at Go Be Creative has sometime fun in store for everyone who reads her blog. So you are going to have to go over and check it out. Here is her link......and make sure you check back on her blog because I think there is going to be a prize or something. ~wink wink~ Click {Here} to go check it out.

Here are my projects for the GBC December 2008 kit. OMG! This kit completely rocks and it was so much fun creating with it.

I had been saving these pictures and when I got the Jennie Bowlin mini album in the kit, I knew it was time to scrap them. Mind you, I didn't scrap all of the pics, because if you read the journaling, you find that Matt had the camera and it is not good to give an 11 year old the camera, especially when he is taking pictures behind you. So there are SEVERAL pictures of mine and Deanna's be-hinds that didn't make the mini album!

I had to make a frame for this darling picture of Matt. He was three years old here. I picked up a few unfinished picture frames from Hobby Lobby and made this one with the candy cane paper from the kit.

Well, you know me, can't be happy with one mini album...so I made two! This one was listed in my etsy store today and was bought before the evening was over with!

Don't forget to check out the {GBC Flickr} site for the rest of the Creative Teams December kit reveals.
Here are a few more things that went up in my Etsy Store this weekend. It was a very creative weekend, once I started feeling human again.

The Three Stoogettes are back to normal. They have gotten their stitches removed and they are once again running amoke throughout the house. So we decided to skip the Christmas Tree and decorations this year.....Yes, I know CAROL, I am a dork! But I just don't have the energy to deal with cleaning up the chaos once I get home from work every evening. Maybe by next year the Stoogettes will be a bit calmer!
I wish they were like this all of the time! Lazy!

Matt is in the spot light.....

Okay, Matt has really been causing quite the excitement these past few days.
On Thursday evening, November 20th, we get a phone call that he has been in a car accident. He apparently went deer hunting using his dad's 2008 Mini Cooper. He got himself a 12 point buck and about $10K in damages to the Mini Cooper.

Matt was not hurt, thank goodness. The buck didn't fare so well. As Matt said, "he's toast!"

Then on Saturday, November 22nd, Matt ran is first Marathon! 26 miles, in freezing temperatures. There were 435 entrants and Matt came in at number 297, running the 26 and some miles in 4 hours 37 minutes. Way to Go Matt!!!! I am so proud of you!

Insane Organization project, Mini albums, and sick kittys....

I am totally insane. This past Wednesday, I decided to organize all of my embellishments. I had them poked here and there and most of the time I would forget I even had them. Well, I found this printer tray several months ago and was going to alter it. Well, that never happened, so I put it to good use. And yes, I sorted all of my brads, bling, eyelets and many other things...yep, I am insane, but don't it look so purty!!!

I also had a wonderful mail day on Wednesday too. I am participating in a Secret Sister swap at Go Be Creative and see what my secret sister sent me! Isn't it the cutest! My kittys love the treats too!

Friday, I was off from work and worked on a set of Christmas cards for my mom! Mom, I hope you like them. :)

I did work on some mini albums this weekend too. I got these three completed and listed in my Etsy store.

My poor kittys are not feeling good. They have been through a lot. They got spay, declawed, dewormed and shots. Poor babies. They have been laying around all weekend. I felt horrible, Peanut Butter ran in front of me and I stepped on her front paw. I wanted to cry. Her paw started bleeding and she hid under the coffee table and wouldn't come out. Finally I was able to get her out from under the table. Poor baby. I felt so horrible. But today, she is fine. Man, I can't wait until they are all healed up.

I tired.......

Man, I am beat. Chris and I had taken the Three Stooges to the vet on Tuesday. The vet is over an hour away. After work today, we went and picked them up. I swear, I feel like I was in the car a lot longer than what we were. But the Stooges are home and doing well. Poor babies have been through hell and back. They got declawed, spay, dewormed and shots. And then when I got them home, they got their monthly Advantage treatment. They are now asleep and I am just about ready to go to bed myself.

Don't forget about the blog give away! I will be drawing a name on Saturday. So if you haven't, click on the link below and leave me a comment for a chance to win!!!

Well, this weekend, I finally broke down and went shopping for work clothes. MAN I totally hate clothes shopping. I mean, I seriously hate it. I would rather be beat with a baseball bat and then drug behind a truck...that is how bad I hate shopping for clothes. It's so freaking depressing. I am a big girl. Not only to I have a big butt, but I also wear tall pants. I am not extremely tall, in fact I am average height, but average length pants are too short. Do you know how hard it is to find dress pants that will not only fit my big butt, but that are also long enough to wear I don't look like I am waiting for a flood?! And man, I love a good deal, but I hate digging for clothes. So, my little shopping outing was not very enjoyable. And don't even get me started on the whole having to try everything thing on deal! I HATE dressing rooms. Okay, I just hate it all.

Four hours and 4 stores later, I scored 6 pairs of dress pants, 6 blouses, 2 undershirts, 6 pairs of dress socks and 2 pairs of shoes. All for $320. Not bad. So now I am set for fall and winter. I don't have to go shopping again for at least 6 more months....I hope! Oh, I did find a store that I love! In fact, I use to shop at the store when it was in one of the local malls. But it closed down. They opened a new one! It's the Avenue. I love that store. I am so glad I found another one to shop at. I like going in there, I am not faced with any size smaller than a 12! WoooHooo! Even though I wished that I was a size 12 again. But I can find my size and in talls there easily!!! And they have nice clothes. I mean come on, most plus size sections of any clothing store has some of the ugliest clothes. What, do they think just because you are not a size 4 that you don't like stylish clothes? That you only like stripes and hideous color schemes? Okay, I won't even finish that rant!

Halloween night was fun. We had several trick or treaters. I love Halloween. Seeing kids dressed up is so much fun!

Other than that, not much happened here, except the laundry and house cleaning. Tomorrow it's back to work. I am afraid it's going to be a very busy week for me.
I am signing off with these cute pictures......
