How about a Give-Away!!!

As most of you know, I use to sell my handmade mini albums on Etsy. Well, when I decided to take a break from WhatchaMaDoodles, I put away the few mini albums I had left. So what would be a better RAK then a WhatchaMaDoodles Mini Album?!

This is one of my favorites....well, they are all my favorites, but this one is very very pretty! It is made with a Maya Road binder album, Cosmo Cricket paper, and kraft paper.

All you gotta do for a chance to win this mini album, is leave me a comment on this thread and tell me about your favorite childhood memory or your favorite something from your childhood. On Sunday, June 14th, after 5pm CST, I will do that random number generator thingy for the winning comment/commentor!

So spread the word!!! Blog GiveAway here!!!!!
My favorite childhood memory.....my dog Dummy. I got him when I was 6 years old. He died when I was 17 years old. He was 1/2 bassett hound 1/2 dauchend (sp?) weiner dog. He could climb trees and ladders and he was my best friend! I dearly miss that dog!!!

Good luck!!!

My favorite childhood memory is spending time at my grandparents house in the summer, I loved falling asleep to the sound of frogs (cherping or croaking or whatever it is frogs do) I loved playing on the firetrucks that my Grandpa had in his huge garage. (her was the fire chief and collected old firetrucks). Those were the days ;)

One of my favorite memories from my childhood was when I would go stay with my grandparents for a week each summer. My grandfather would take me to Dairy Queen for a chocolate dip cone every afternoon and it was our special time together. I still eat dip cones and each and every time I think of him. I miss his so much. Wonderful album Tam...but it would look even cuter at my house...LOL!

My favorite childhood memories revolve around summer days spent at the cottage - swimming in the lake, laying in the hammock and taking walks in the woods. There was no television there so at night we played games or read a books. Tam, your book is beautiful!!!

well one of my fondest memories NOW (wasn't at the time) was a trip to my grandparents for the summer and I met a boy that I was totally crazy about and we were together all the time that summer. One night we were kissing goodbye, and OMG my darling BRATTY sister was flushing the toilet everytime we kissed. The bathroom window faced the street!! Was totally embarrassing, but I laugh now.

Does that remind you of anyone Tam?

I'm sure you know who this is haha

My favorite childhood memories were when we had family gatherings and I spent alot of time listening to the family stories, not knowing when I became an adult, I'd end up being the family genealogist.
My parents would keep running me out of the room to play with all of my cousins, but I'd sneak back in to listen.
This was my Dad's family, they had moved from Kansas to California in the 1930's, loved listening to all of the stories, now I wish I'd kept notes all of those years.
Tam, love your work you've done on all of the mini albums you make.

hmmm..I have many and it's hard to choose. I think one of em was to stay up very late at night after a full day of swimmining in the pool.

We wanted to watch creature feature, eat popcorn and snug and be scared senseless!

THEN, after the movie it was time for television to "sign off" and we'd here the National Anthem play awhile the flaged waved...**sigh** the good ole days!

The album is beautiful always! Diana

Wowzers... that is one wonderful album!!!! I want it :) I'll be keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed for this one :)

My favorite childhood memories are the ones of my 5 siblings and I spent either gathered around the piano signing to whatever songs my dad would play or in front of the tv on Friday nights with our snacks and soda watching the Brady Bunch then the Partridge Family (we were only aloud to have snacks and soda on tv night)

It is so hard to pick just one memory, when you are a great grandmother yourself there are a lot of memories. I remember going to see my grandparents riding in an old car down a narrow highway and having to split one stick of gum with my little brother. Whoever divided the gum had to let the other sibling choose which half they wanted. You can bet we divided it as evenly as we could! We got to sleep on feather beds with colorful quilts when we got there. The mini album is beautiful.

What an adorable album, Tam!! My favorite memories are of spending time with my Granny. She was a special and wonderful woman and loved to have all of us around her. That's the kind of grandmother I have always tried to be - I want my kiddoes to have the same memories of me.

I LOVE your mini album...well, I haven't seen too many mini albums I didn't love, but your details are great! My favorite childhood memory has to be perusing my Granny's button box when we'd visit...not only it contain great buttons, but there were other little things in there that were unexpected surprises. To this day, I wish I had that box (which was really a large, round metal "box".

Hi Tam. Miss seeing your work. Def. miss our forum!! The only person I still chat with is Margee.

My childhood favorite is my big green frog my mom made. I still have him. I use to carry that thing everywhere and he is big. Favorite times were making crafts and selling them on our driveway. My neighbor is the only one who came and bought them-he is such a sweet old man. I miss him and the neighborhood.

Books, books, books, books -- fortunately I had a branch library about 3 blocks from my house and in the summer I would take my wagon down to it to bring home a pile of books. Went down in 3rd grade and they'd only let me take 1 book out - said it would take me much more than 1 day to read it. I brought it back that same day and they quizzed me about it. After that I could take as many as I wanted out. Lois Lenski, Laura Ingalls Wilder, all the Bobbs & Merrill historical books -- those were my starters - now I'm very eclectic in my books and I still have favorite memories of reading, reading, reading - what a beautiful little album, whether I win it or not

My favorite childhood memories are all the many times I found "stray" animals and begged my parents to let me keep them. Little did I realize they weren't strays and I would be so sad when they left...It turns out I knew then that I wanted to help animals - which led me to my current career.

What an adorable album!

My favorite childhood memory was after a tornado came within about 5 miles of our house, there was so much rain in our backyard area that it created a pond... we called it Lake Minihaha (as kids we thought that was hilarious!)
We played in that water till for so many days.. till it was nothing but a mucky muddy mess, my sweet Mom just hosed us off afterward without a complaint about the mess we made. My mother passed away this past December, thank you so much for jogging my mind to remember those wonderful days and moments with her :oD

Very Beautiful Album. I love it. My favorite childhood memory is swimming with my family...we always had a blast, and with 4 kids there was no end to games, diving and tea parties at the bottom of the pool. To this day I still do handstands in the pool...it's the only time I stay up! ;) Beautiful work.

One of my most favorite childhood memories is when my Grampa (now deceased) took the whole family - mom and her 6 kids, uncle and his 2 boys and my aunt and gramma out on the boat to this little "island" of sandy dirt for a family picnic. Us kids (and I am sure the adults) had tons of fun running around, running in and out of the water, playing games, eating, laughing and talking. At one point my little sister (then 4 or 5) started crying because she got her shoes wet while running in the water (do you think she was getting tired?) so me being the big (and might I add) helpful sister, placed her shoes next to the fire to dry them . . . big mistake. . . as they melted. Talk about big ole crocodile tears! 45 years later its still a fun story to tell and hear when those of us who survive get together. Thanks for the memories!

Great album. My favorite childhood summer memory is just playing outside all day long. We roamed the neighborhood with no worries of someone abducting us or getting into trouble--just good clean fun - riding bikes, building forts, playing baseball.
