521. Electric Bills!!!!
Okay, I know and you know that I hate to be hot. I hate sweating, even though I sweat in the dead of winter (sooooo lady like)..but $324 electric bill?!! Seriously!!! What the heck! My house wasn't that cool!!
Yes, my house is 105 years old. Yes, the windows are 105 years old....BUT $324!! Holy Monkey!!!!
I think getting new windows is going to have to move to the priority list soon!!! *Sigh*
Is it Fall yet?

I totally agree with you! It's too hot this summer here too! I dread our electric bill arriving next week,With 100+ weather for weeks now, air running constantly and irrigation pump running over time to keep us green to prevent fires.
But then the cold winter will arrive and no relief there either with electric bills.

We replaced our old windows about 10 years ago, really helped alot, especially keeping the wind and sand from blowing in, like the old windows.
I hate the heat, too. Matter of fact, I am trying to convince DH that we should move to North Dakota (my home state). On the matter of windows, we replaced our two large south facing windows last winter with Champion Windows and it has made a HUGE difference in the comfort of the house as well as the utility bills.
