Father’s Day is right around the corner….

I bet you weren’t thinking that Father’s Day is coming up soon, now did you? You were thinking about Memorial Day Weekend, picnics, camping out, boating, fishing, a weekend of outdoor fun. Well, I was thinking about Father’s Day and that I better get busy making some cards and get them in my store.

Here are the first round of Father’s Day cards. You can find them at http://whatchamadoodles.etsy.com

Last night was a really interesting evening. When I say interesting, I mean very interesting. There were three very large storms in Oklahoma. Well, by 630 pm one of them was heading in our direction. Oh boy! I have to tell you, my dear sweet awesome husband HATES storms. They make him very nervous. Me, well, I don’t get nervous until sirens start sounding off.  Well, I got nervous last night. Yep, the very loud siren that is located right across the street screamed for over 30 minutes.

My dogs were freaking out. The cats were freaking out. The husband was freaking out and all I could do was be the calming force. Okay, STOP! STOP laughing at me. I know, I know, calm is not a word use to describe me unless I am a sleep. But last night I was actually calm. I had a great distraction, I was giving minute by minute updates on Facebook. No, not from my computer, but from my iphone. My friend Carol in Illinois was just waiting for me to be Facebooking while being swept away by a tornado. LOL! She even called me during the midst of the major storm to tell me to get the heck of the the computer and take cover. I so appreciate my friend Carol and her taking the time to call me, it was so sweet. But I did have to correct her and tell her that I was NOT on my computer, I was posting from my phone! LOL! I love you Carol! I wasn’t the only one posting on Facebook during the storm. I believe I saw posts from my OKC buds Carolyn and Martha! LOL! We are all so bad. What would we do without our abilities to Facebook?

We took cover in my project room. And when I say WE, I am including me, Chris and the entire freaking zoo that lives in my house. So 2 rather large dogs, 4 cats and a very nervous husband sitting in my wonderful sanctuary all freaking out. What did I do? I started cleaning up my project table. My mom suggested (on Facebook) that I just make some cards. I didn’t, but had I been cooped up in there much longer, I probably would have. My work table was clean and ready! LOL!

Well, tonight is suppose to be a nice and quiet uneventful evening weather wise. I am glad.

Bang Bang for now!

I love those cards. And Ive thought about it.. but yeah, with a birthday and a graduation.. Im already behind on doing the things and have even thought about buying a card instead of making one {shameful I know}!!!

Im glad you kept safe. I hate storms but try to remain calm too.. Ruby the dog freaks out.. and Todd starts cussing and worrying about the electric going out. Then if it does he goes into full panic mode. Good grief!
