Well it’s not as bad as they were predicting…yet! A dry pocket is suppose to move through before the snow hits. I don’t mind the snow, but the inch of ice underneath sucks!!!
One of my sweet blog readers, Linda, nominated me for a Sunshine Award. After the icky weather day here, it was such a nice surprise and much appreciated.

You know, I am getting kinda sick of this weather. As much as I hate to admit it, I am ready for Winter to be over with! Stick a fork in me….I am done!!!

I am completely drawing a blank. I really think that ‘altered bird house sitting on top of a square plaque sitting on top of a candle stick’ is a bit long and BORING and I don’t think “thingy-majig” is going to cut it. So basically, I got nothin’.
So help me out here. It truly needs a name. It just can’t go nameless. It needs a name that fits it’s cuteness. And I am really tired of calling it “it”. 
Believe it or not I am back making mini albums! Shocker! I have already added 6 mini albums to my store. Two of the mini albums are what was left of my etsy store and 4 brand new ones. I was on a roll this weekend!
Here a real fun one that I used Lemonade paper from Basic Grey.
I found this at Goodwill for $1.50…total score. It was really ugly, so I took it home, cleaned it up, and started painting. I think it turned out great.
This is it hanging on their wall. I matched the paint good! I am so excited that they like it!
Last night I started flooding my Facebook gallery with pictures from when I was a kid. It was so fun walking down memory lane with so many of my friends and family. My Facebook was blowing up with comments. I could almost hear the laughter.
Things were so simple when you are a kid. How in the world does life get so complicated? So complex?
I like simple, I like carefree, I like the idea of climbing trees and building tree houses. I might now be able to climb a tree or build a tree house, but I can sure strive to be get my life back to simple and carefree.

I love Tuesday nights! The first hour, Chris and I are cuddled up on the couch, eating a healthy snack (okay, a not so healthy snack) and cheering for our favorite team! I have already picked my favorite couple. Then during the second hour, I am on the phone (during commercial breaks) with my bestest bud Carol and Lainey recapping what has happened thus far.
My favorite team is the white team, Maria and Michael! They are adorable! I just love Italians.
I just about flipped out when Maria hurt herself last week. And I was really wishing that NBC would have stopped with the replay of her hitting the platform. It was awful!
I don’t have a team that I dislike yet. I wasn’t really liking the Red team last week with the early “game play”, but I don’t like the “game play” period. I want to see each and every one of them make it to the finals! But I know that won’t win ratings for NBC. And with the whole Leno/O’Brian thang going on, I guess NBC needs all the good ratings they can get.
It did break my heart last week when the mom on the Purple team was voted off. But dang she looked so good when they showed her “now”. And it was really sad on the week before when one of the Brown team members went home. But doggies, he is kicking some butt at home. 100 pounds lighter! WoooHooo!!!
I can’t wait to see the Yellow and Blue team come back and see which one gets to stay on campus.
So far, I am liking this season. I really like the couples more than singles being paired off with other team mates, like last season. But I did like last season, since a local boy won! Go Danny Go! What I didn’t like about the start of this season was making each of the contestants weigh in front of their communities. That just killed me. Why? Why make them do that? I still don’t understand why they make the men take off their shirts and the women weigh in their sports bra. I don’t think I could do it. I am sure NBC has their reasons, but I don’t like it. But it won’t make me quit watching.

This mess is so killing my creativity. So the goal for this week is to get this mess cleaned up! I just can’t take it anymore!

…I am not back to 100%, but I am back to a functioning level. I absolutely hate sinus infections. I think all of the pressure set right behind my eyes. Honestly, at one point and time I would have sworn that my eyes were bulging out, but Chris assured me that they weren’t and that I didn’t resemble any trolls. I think he was just telling me that because he loves me. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and no, my eyes were not bulging, but I think I am going to have to rethink my hair style. I was beginning to look like Ty Pennington. Which is not a good thing when you are a girl!
He does that to his hair on purpose. While I like the whole spikey thing he’s got going on, it works for him. Not me! I kid you not, there was not one hair on my head that was laying down. It’s time to let my hair grow back out..or start wearing baseball caps around the house when I am too lazy to go wash my hair! LOL
I did get into the project room late Friday night. I hadn’t been in there all week and dang, It was a mess.
I am really going to have to take a entire day and do a massive clean up in there. I have a lot of stuff that needs to find it’s place and even more stuff that needs to be sorted through, given away or pitched.
Here are something that I have started working on. Nothing is completed. Hopefully, during the week I will be able to get them finished up.
I finally got to play with some paperclay last night. I love this stuff. It’s messy and fun. Reminded me of those endless days playing with play dough! I can’t wait until they have completely dried so I can slap some paint on them. I still haven’t even opened up the polymer clay I got two weeks ago. My full time boring bill paying job really gets in the way of my project time!
I have had the hankering to do some cards. So I am going to have to get these projects finished soon so I can pull out my paper, sewing machine and stamps.
Oh, I have to show you this picture. Scrappy has entered very dangerous territory. It’s amazing how such a big dog can make himself so very small to fit! Apparently, the couch has now become the Zoo’s lounging area.
Sorry for the lack of post yesterday. I was asleep most of the day. I think I got ran over by a mack truck, better yet, I think it’s still parked on my head! It’s the cold and flu season, and I think it has come to my house! I am staying home from work for the rest of the week and sleep!!!
