Sorry for not posting yesterday. I totally forgot and then got wrapped up in watching a movie. I know, I suck! But hey, here is the other scrapbook mini album I was talking about.

I finally made some mini albums

Two to be exact.  I wanted to make more, but I ran out of time.  It’s been a crazy weekend. But what weekend around here isn’t crazy? I can’t think of very many.  Chris decided not to go enter the model contest, so that minimized some of the crazy, but not much. 

Here is the first mini album. It's made with some of the new My Mind’s Eye paper. Fun huh?

Tomorrow I will post my second mini album. It’s really nice. I used some of the new Prima paper! So stay tuned!!

I am out of sorts today…

Ever have one of those days where everything you tried to do you ended up messing up, dropping it, breaking it or crushing it?  That has been my day! Not sure what the deal it, but man it’s been an adventure in how much I can destroy. I am surprised I haven’t shorted out my computer…..oh please let’s not do that.

My brother-in-law, Pat, is here for a short visit this evening. He is in town for a church function. He and Chris just headed to Subway to pick up dinner. I am starving! I am use to eating at 4:30 pm, not 6:30 pm. Boy, don’t I sound like a whiney baby?! Don’t answer that!

Tomorrow I have to work a 1/2 of a day. And then after that it’s grocery shopping, home for a nap and then some creative time in the project room. Saturday, Chris and I are heading in to Tulsa to attend Chris’ very first model car show. He is entering 4 of his model cars. I will be getting tons of pictures.  Wish him luck! I am hoping that he brings home a trophy! Now wouldn’t that just be the coolest!

My day….

What a crazy day. The Vendor Fair at NORDAM was a huge success! I am so excited. WhatchaMaDoodles did awesome!! I am tired, but I am stinking excited!!!

Tomorrow WhatchaMaDoodles will be playing at the NORDAM Vendor Fair. I can’t wait. Even though it’s where I work, I won’t be sitting at my desk, I will be on the shop floor with other vendors. It’s going to be fun! Wish me luck!!!

Ooooo, look what I got in the mail today! I can’t wait to put them on some cards! I ordered them from Sugar Pink Boutique, it’s a really cool etsy store. Go Check it out!! I know I will be shopping there a lot in the future!

And you know what I am going to do tomorrow while Chris is slaving away at work? I am going top be NAPPING! Yes, I live for my naps!

This weekend is going to be busy. I am not going to get any creative work done, but I will be working on getting everything ready for a Vendor Fair that will take place where I work on Tuesday. And you know what? I just got a box of brand new Prima paper in the mail today…hrph! I won’t get to play with it until next weekend. But boy oh boy, those papers are going to make some really really pretty cards!

Satan Mix is EVIL I tell you…EVIL

….EVIL EVIL EVIL!!!

What is Satan Mix you ask…well it’s EVIL! Didn’t I just say that.

Satan Mix is what Chris and I refer to this very yummy mix of Honey Nut Cheerios, Honey Grahams, Honey Roasted Peanuts and M&Ms.  OH MY GOSH is this stuff addictive and let me tell you, my tookus can attest to how EVIL this stuff is. I think I have gained 10 pounds just eating this EVIL Yumminess! I don’t think yumminess is a word, but I am going to use it anyways.

So, who got their United States Census in the mail? I got mine. (It’s obvious that I am having a very slow news day here in my crazy world since I am talking about Satan Mix and US Census).

What a great phone call I just had…..

I got a letter in the mail a few days ago from a childhood friend. We have kept in touch with each other over the years. However, it’s been about 3 years since the last time we caught up with each other. Well, I called her and left a message and a little while later she called me. We were on the phone for over an hour. It was like the three years hadn’t passed. I love those kind of phone calls. It just made my day! 

Tonight is The Biggest Loser night! WoooHooo! But honestly, I am not sure if I will make it through. Chris and I both have not been feeling well. It’s spring, so allergies are a kickin’ big time! But I know me, I will be watching it with one eye open if I have too.

Time Change

Man, the time change has kicked my tookus. Chris and I couldn’t get to sleep last night. Not really sure why. We were both just very restless. We finally went to sleep and I’ll be derned if we didn’t wake up to our alarm clocks. I think Chris might have turned his off by mistake and I don’t know why I slept through mine. So we were three hours late for work today. Not a really good start to the day. Grrrr. But I do think that there will be an early to bed call for me tonight.

I had a very productive weekend. 29 cards! WOW! I took Thursday and Friday off of work, so I had three days to create. Sunday is chore day. I spent Thursday napping and started working on cards Thursday evening. I plopped in Two and Half Men in the DVD and created. It was a good weekend.

I have to confess something. I am completely addicted to Celebrity Rehab and Sober House. I know…I know….I have professed in the past to hate reality tv, so how can I be watching these train wreck shows? Easy….Tom Sizemore. No, I don’t have one of those celebrity crushes, but I do think that Tom Sizemore is an incredible actor and enjoy his movies. I caught a commercial for Celebrity Rehab one morning and saw that Tom Sizemore was checking in, so I had to watch. Now that Celebrity Rehab is over, he has moved on to Sober House, which is an extension to Celebrity Rehab.  Also, Mike Starr from Alice In Chains was also on Celebrity Rehab and now Sober House. I have always been an Alice In Chains fan and hated it when they kicked him out of the group. Anyway, I am totally sucked in. And for the record, for those of you who watch these two shows, I can’t stand Kari Ann Peniche or Heidi Fleiss..drama queens! And don’t get me started on the Drama King of them all, Dennis Rodman. Ugh!  I am hopeless.  Now I religiously watch three reality tv shows (The Biggest Loser is at the top of that list). I don’t catch Celebrity Rehab/Sober House on Thursday nights…I am usually in a coma, but thank goodness for the internet!

Okay, enough of my tv addictions….I bet you want to see some cards….

I am still here….

I have totally neglected my blog this week. So Sorry. I wish I could tell you that I have been incredibly busy and creating like a mad woman, but I can’t. I have been just lazing around. I think it’s that whole creative block thing going on.
I did make a few cards, but haven’t photographed them yet. And on Sunday, I got totally sucked in to watching The Oscars. I love that Sandra Bullock won for best actress. It was totally worth staying up way past my bedtime. I tell you what, Monday at work was brutal. I was running off of very little sleep. In fact, when we got home from work I fell asleep on the couch and woke up at 6pm and went to bed. But since Sandra won and The Hurt Locker won best picture, it was totally worth it.
Promise I will be back in action and posting again on my blog Sunday. I am going to take the rest of the week off. 

I am enjoying every moment of the beautiful sunshine!

It’s amazing what a full day of sunshine can do for a body! There is still a little chill in the air, but the sunshine feels so good!

I just found out today that the place I work will be having a Vendor Fair later this month. I filled out the paperwork and WhatchaMaDoodles will be there! I can’t wait! Now, I have to get busy finishing up some bird houses that have been waiting for some paint! This is going to be a great motivator to get me back in that creative mode!!!
