We are getting there….

Chris and I totally kicked butt getting the Project Room moved. We have a lot more to go, but the new project room is almost complete. The new guest room…..well it looks like a bomb went off.

The move begins………

IMG_5129_6878

We had to be really be systematic. The room we are moving into is a lot smaller. So not everything is moving…well, it’s going to be moving into the shed.

IMG_5139_6888

We put the Three Stoogettes out in the laundry room, but Widdles was having none of that. I kid you not, that little Widdles has a very big voice. She cried, very loudly I might add, for over 30 minutes. I couldn’t stand it anymore. She was very happy and content when she got to help supervise the move.

My side is shaping up.

The other room looks like Three little tornados came through.

The big white cabinet is going to stay in this room, along with the dressers and the big TV. There is no way we could fit all of that stuff in that small room.

Chris’ side is taking shape. Chris looks so deep in thought or is that his “OMG who’s freaking idea was this to move all our crap stuff into a smaller room!!!”

IMG_5167_6916

This is what has been left in the other room. Yes, here in a little while, we will be in there getting it cleaned up and organized.

All of this stuff piled up in our living room, did find it’s way into the new guest room before we collapsed into bed last night.

Well here is how our new project room stands this morning. I will hopefully find out later this evening (after my nap!) when I can finally get in there and work on some cards. Hopefully, my current organization will work out good. But I am sure I will be tweaking/reorganizing for many months to come. That’s part of the fun!

WoooHoooo! Let our long 4 day weekend begin….

Yep, that’s right. Chris and I do not report back to work until 5 am Tuesday! Yipeeeeee! (not the 5 am business, but the 4 day weekend!)…

Tonight we are just hanging out, surfing the internet and watching tv.  Tomorrow and Saturday are going to be two busy days! What are we up to? Well, I am sure I have mentioned it before, so I will tell you again….the Project Room is moving. I am going to sacrifice space for windows. Our current project room is a cave, but lots of room. I need windows. So we are moving back into the back bedroom, which originally started out as our project room, many moons ago.

Here are before pictures. I will post during and after pictures sometime this weekend.

We are going to replace all of our Rock Group posters with some fun movie posters. But that will be sometime in the future. I need time to decide what movies. You know The Godfather will be one of them!

Bang Bang for now! I am heading back to the couch!

Oh MY GOSH! It’s….

…..The Biggest Loser Finale TONIGHT! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I can’t wait!

So, tell me, who is your favorite to win? Well, my money is on Michael, but I would love for our Oklahoma Boy Daris to take the win! Actually, I will be happy with anyone that wins.

Now, if the Red team from Texas wins the At Home Challenge, then I will be pissed! I don’t like that woman, not one little bit.

I am also super excited to see Shay from last season. I can’t wait to see how much weight she has lost. If you remember, Subway is paying her a lot of money (can’t remember the exact amount) per pound lost.

I love the finale because we get to see EVERYONE and see how they have done. We will see the Twin brothers, Miggy and her daughter, etc. You know, those that we have forgotten about. I can’t wait.

There are no storms on the radar, so hopefully no programming interruptions.

Chris and I are counting down to this weekend. Not only do we get a 4 day weekend, we are going to be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary.  We are also going to be moving the project room back to the guest room. It’s a smaller room, but it has windows. So be ready for pictures.

Now, more cards…..

Oh boy! I went 3 rounds with Daisy and she won!

What was I thinking when I decided that this evening was the time to tackle Daisy and give her a good brushing and bath? Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! I forget that her 80+ pounds is not match for me, even though I totally out weigh her by…..yeah, like I am gonna tell you how much I out weigh her! Lets just say, I out weigh her A LOT, but still she was able to take me down!  But between me and Chris both we were able to remove about a pound of hair and 5 pounds of dirt! Mind you, Chris and I both really need showers now, but I am too exhausted to move.

Every summer our poor Daisy breaks out in a rash. We have tried all kinds of things that the vets have recommended. And like every other year, I headed to Pet Smart and checked out different products. $42 dollars later, I came home with some hypo-allergenic shampoo, oatmeal anti-itch moisturizing spray and Great Alaska Salmon oil. Oh man, that Salmon oil STINKS. But the dogs love it and it’s suppose to be good for their skin. Lets hope so. I can’t stand for Daisy to be miserable all summer long.  Keep your fingers crossed that this round of product does the trick. If not, pray that Chris gets to work a lot of overtime so I can buy stock in Pet Smart. LOL!

Scrappy didn’t get a bath this evening. He was hiding under our bed. What he doesn’t realize is that sometime this week, he will be getting a bath. But don’t tell him. It’s hard enough to get him in the bathroom. If he knows ahead of time, I will never be able to get him out from under the bed. So it’s our little secret, K? ;)

I will leave you with some cards. I am heading to the shower. Bang Bang for now!

End of a great weekend….

What a great weekend. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. Friday, I spent the day sleeping, which is nothing new there, so I totally missed the beautiful weather. Saturday was spent in the project room. Got 17 cards made and a custom order. WoooHoooo! And today, well I have been doing loads of laundry and computer work. But I have all of the blinds up and the great sunshine is flooding into my home. I love it. I am not looking forward to the hot weather that is just around the corner, but I am so enjoying all of this bright sunshine.

The new kittens are so freaking adorable. They are so funny. Why can’t kittens stay kittens? They are just too darn cute. It’s a shame they grow up to be crabby cats. LOL!

Here is one of the little rascals.

I bet you weren’t thinking that Father’s Day is coming up soon, now did you? You were thinking about Memorial Day Weekend, picnics, camping out, boating, fishing, a weekend of outdoor fun. Well, I was thinking about Father’s Day and that I better get busy making some cards and get them in my store.

Last night was a really interesting evening. When I say interesting, I mean very interesting. There were three very large storms in Oklahoma. Well, by 630 pm one of them was heading in our direction. Oh boy! I have to tell you, my dear sweet awesome husband HATES storms. They make him very nervous. Me, well, I don’t get nervous until sirens start sounding off.  Well, I got nervous last night. Yep, the very loud siren that is located right across the street screamed for over 30 minutes.

My dogs were freaking out. The cats were freaking out. The husband was freaking out and all I could do was be the calming force. Okay, STOP! STOP laughing at me. I know, I know, calm is not a word use to describe me unless I am a sleep. But last night I was actually calm. I had a great distraction, I was giving minute by minute updates on Facebook. No, not from my computer, but from my iphone. My friend Carol in Illinois was just waiting for me to be Facebooking while being swept away by a tornado. LOL! She even called me during the midst of the major storm to tell me to get the heck of the the computer and take cover. I so appreciate my friend Carol and her taking the time to call me, it was so sweet. But I did have to correct her and tell her that I was NOT on my computer, I was posting from my phone! LOL! I love you Carol! I wasn’t the only one posting on Facebook during the storm. I believe I saw posts from my OKC buds Carolyn and Martha! LOL! We are all so bad. What would we do without our abilities to Facebook?

We took cover in my project room. And when I say WE, I am including me, Chris and the entire freaking zoo that lives in my house. So 2 rather large dogs, 4 cats and a very nervous husband sitting in my wonderful sanctuary all freaking out. What did I do? I started cleaning up my project table. My mom suggested (on Facebook) that I just make some cards. I didn’t, but had I been cooped up in there much longer, I probably would have. My work table was clean and ready! LOL!

Well, tonight is suppose to be a nice and quiet uneventful evening weather wise. I am glad.

Bang Bang for now!

The elusive white kitty

Patience paid off. And anyone that knows me knows that I am NOT a patient person. But for some reason when it comes to animals, especially kittens, I am very patient.

I was able to snap 1000 several pictures of the kittens and I got several of the white one.

OMG! Too cute.

I will not touch! I will not touch! I will not touch! If I keep saying it, I might actually NOT touch the pretty kitties!

Kitten Watch….

We are on kitten watch! Yes, you read that right….we have been blessed with more kittens. NO, they are not coming in my house. One of the kittens from last year (remember Huey, Louey and Dewey?)

IMG_9586_0157

Well, Huey, Louey and their momma all got knocked up around the same time. And within 3 days of each other, all of them had babies. ~Oy~. Huey delivered hers under the house, momma had hers in the neighbor’s garage and Louey had hers across the street under a house. We don’t think Momma’s babies made it, she hasn’t shown any signs of nursing babies.

Well, we have been hearing Huey’s babies under the house. Yesterday evening, the finally came out from under our porch. There are 4 of them. 3 of them are black and white and one is white with brown ears. I was able to snap a picture (below) of three of them. The white one is going to be very elusive.

I am not going to touch them! I am not going to touch them! I am not going to touch them! ;)
