We have some really happy dogs. We have changed their diet. One can of Alpo mixed with some dry dog food makes for some really happy dogs! I have been doing some research on some homemade flea repellants. Garlic seems to be hands down the go to remedy, as long as you don’t over dose the dogs in garlic. This morning, like every morning, we took off for work around 4:30 am. I got a letter in the mail a few days ago from a childhood friend. We have kept in touch with each other over the years. Well, another Monday is close to an end. Thank goodness. The snow is melting and the roads are much better. Driving to work this morning was interesting. Yesterday was full of surprises for us.  First, the washer machine froze, then it thawed.  All was well, no leaks so I commenced with the laundry. That was a huge mistake. I like winter, to a point! This is some crazy cold going on right now.  Fortunately, our water didn’t freeze, EXCEPT to our washer machine! Oh man, getting out of bed this morning was really really difficult. I think I slept walked through my day.  Thank goodness my boss was out of the office. Whew! I have really loved my week and a half off work. But all good things must come to an end. Bummer! I have to admit, I need to get back in a routine. I have been lazing around the house and eating bad stuff for way too long now. I think I have gained 10 pounds over the past couple of weeks. I am not certain, since I refuse to step on the scales.
